A disabled man is still missing

LABUAN – A 28-year-old Oku (disabled) man was reported missing since this morning at Kampung Bukit Kalam.

The director of Labuan Fire and Rescue Department, Jainal@Zainal Madasin told that the victim was identified as Farizul Rosli.

“We did receive a call from the victim’s brother, Zali Rosli on 5.14pm who informed us that the last time they saw their brother was on 11am today who was only using a blue short without a shirt.

“Our operation to search and rescue for the victim started on 5.31pm. But we are yet found the victim whereabouts until 7.31pm,” he said, adding that their centre for the operation was at bushes area within the village.

It is learned that the search and rescue operation was stopped and would be continued on tomorrow.

Some 19 officers and personnel of Labuan Fire and Rescue Department was involved in the operation together with the police.
