Some 429 students take part in UMSKAL course

LABUAN – A total of 429 participants took part in quantitative research and analysis data course by using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) recently.

The course was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norazah Mohd. Suki who was teaching in Labuan International Finance Faculty where the course was joined in by the sophomore and final year students from the faculty.

Also taking part in the course were the postgraduate students.

Dr. Norazah told that through the course, the students were learning to record the data by using SPSS software where she hoped the students could effectively apply it in carrying out their researches.

Dr. Norazah had published her book of ‘Analyzing data using SPSS: A Step-By-Step Approach’ and had won UMS Research Award under social science category at last year.
