Four-cornered fights in Labuan parliamentary seat

LABUAN – Four candidates each from Barisan Nasional (BN), Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan), Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (Harapan) and Pasti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) will contest in four-cornered fights in this coming polling day on May 9 for Labuan parliamentary seat (P.166).

BN is represented by Datuk Rozman Isli (54), Warisan by Noor Halim Zaini (54), Harapan by Siti Zaleha Ibrahim (61) and PAS by Ahmad Junid Aling (51) where their nominations were accepted by the Election Commission at the hall of Labuan Matriculation College this morning.

There around 28,356 voters in Labuan to cast their votes at 17 polling centres in the island.

The campaign period is 11 days before the 14th General Election for the political parties to carry out their campaigns at nationwide.
