LABUAN – Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) Labuan explained that why the current bill amount issued in this month was a bit higher was due to the late technical reading by their staffs on the 13th day instead of at the 10th day.
SESB spokesperson told that usually their staffs would read and issue the bill around the 10th day of each month, but they did them three days late in this month due to the festive season.
“We do receive some complaints regarding the hike in their current bills. But we have explained to them that the reading on the next month will be lower, as our staffs will read the metre and issue the bill as usual on the 10th day again,” said the spokesperson.
However, the consumers could lodge their complaints to SESB Labuan by filling up the form at SESB counter.
